LINDA SULLIVAN

 As a fine artist I have pursued my passion for painting in and around coastal Maine. I am a landscape artist, painting in oils. Working in a modern impressionistic style,  much of my work embraces color and shape, influenced by my many years as a design professional.  My work begins and/or is finished on site, amidst all the unpredictability that the weather can throw at me.  I am drawn to the sweeping landscape of the sea and coastal areas, and to the New England seasons with their ever changing colors and beauty. I am inspired by the jagged rocky coast, the vastness of the ocean and its shores and to the surrounding woodlands with their many walking paths.
